Don’t Leave Home Without It! (Your LPYC Card)

We returned home July 23 from a 2 week trip to Hawaii; 1 week on the big island and 1 week on Maui. For our last dinner we wanted to eat on the water and I remember seeing the Lahaina Yacht Club along Front Street a couple of doors to the left of Kimo’s, the sign said reciprocity welcome (or something like that). We stopped in, showed our LPYC card and they entered us in their dinner reservations book for a couple of days later. When the time arrived we were seated along the railing overlooking the ocean with a view of Lana’i and Kahoolawe islands. For our appetizer we had Coconut Shrimp (5 for $8.95), excellent! For dinner our daughter (Allison) had chicken picatta with lemon caper sauce / butter and parmesan tossed angel hair ($16.95); Robin and I split the Baby Back Pork Ribs with coleslaw / ginger steamed rice / Hawaiian style BBQ sauce ($19.95). The meal was excellent! If any LPYC members happen to be in Lahaina, Maui, we recommend the Lahaina Yacht Club.
